RARELY do I add new blogs to my reading anymore.
Just added to daily fix list: Developing Talent: the inner experience of creative talent.
Too much synchonicity not too. Salons AND 1984?
from "Salons and Blogging": "While the old-style literary salon such as the Bloomsbury Group may be impractical for most of us, blogging can be a way to express ourselves, connect and gain support and inspiration. In my article Gifted Women: Identity and Expression, I note that one of the issues related to being exceptional such as creative, may be social isolation."
from "Places to be Creative": "George Orwell chose to write Nineteen Eighty-Four while living in Barnhill [photo], an abandoned farmhouse on the isle of Jura in the Inner Hebrides. He noted in 1947, “The weather here is as disgusting as in England, but it isn't quite so cold and a little easier to get fuel... These islands are one of the most beautiful parts of the British Isles and largely uninhabited.”"
