(Yeah, yeah, I know I said I was through with self-help and gurus and such.) Yet we still bounce and stretch and grow and are mirrored by those that come within our sphere. I choose to look at other as peers, not super-peers (or superiors) even if they are world leaders, celebrities or Nobel Prize winners. And even the tiniest dust mote is my equal.
Story Waters challenged himself to write down on one piece of paper what he'd want to tell himself in a future incarnation (interesting premise, as this shall be the lifetime for me) and the result is recorded in this resoundingly powerful video about CREATORSHIP. (This one page to your future Self might be a good exercise for anyone to do.)
Art Fiberdance (unknown artist, via Crystalinks); video Meaning of Life in 700 Words, by Story Waters from YouTube (also his site, www.limitlessness.com)
Bonus: Longer videos on StoryWaters.org, including how to say goodbye to frustration. Excerpt: "Allow yourself to be freak. God is a freak. God is the biggest freak there is. [Remembering I read in Gene-Isis we are the image and likeness of the Creator.] Allow this in. Allow in your difference, your individuality, your uniqueness, that is all a freak is; it is something that is absolutely unique, because what you are creating is unique, that is why it is so wonderful. It is new, it has never been before. It is the most freaky thing that has ever been. It is fabulous. It is succulent. It is joyful. It is what you have all been wanting for so long, and now you are at the doorway and the invitation is out."
I am on a journey right now much like you are and through my blogs I am exploring with others who want to contribute to the conversation on the idea of creativity, creative courage and creative originality on http://philosophis.wordpress.com/ and I have posted about you there too. What I find fascinating is the serendipitous nature of all of our personal journeys. What do you think?
Merry Christmas,
Michael
