Miscellaneous Folder

My new email for my blogging buddies - that's all of you - is crossroadsdispatches [-at-] gmail [-dot-] com. Thanks so much to all that responded to my plea for a Gmail invite. This should help individual email from getting buried and lost. I'm still behind but catching up.

Yesterday I posted a review of Confronting Reality, Larry Bossidy and Ram Charan's prequel to Execution at 800-CEO-READ blog. My takeaway: Disruptive business models are the way to go. Shake up the whole game.

I love meeting bloggers in person. Within the last two weeks, I've met with Johnnie Moore visiting from London, Stuart Henshall (twice!), Jory Des Jardins, and Elizabeth Albrycht (also visiting, splits her time between Bay Area and Versailles). If you don't blog, you might not know a secret incredible unstated benefit to blogging is that it becomes a clear steady beacon to all those that are kindred spirits.

And I just love Jory's writing - her blog 'Pause' is a new gem of a find - I am loathe to add more blogs to my Bloglines feeds at 300-plus - it's worth it, go check it out!

If you live in Utah, I will be visiting my old stomping grounds in Salt Lake City from October 21 through November 4th - drop me a line at my new email and let's meet.
