Creativity Doesn't Adhere to Factory Model

Innovation, creativity and ideas don't have a farm or factory equivalent. I'm not sure this is just endemic to large companies. I think it's more the result of adopting industrial factory and managerial capitalism constructs and structures to a now more knowledge-idea driven economy.

From Worthwhile:

"At large companies, you lose sight of creating a product," said Brad Siegel [former president of Turner Entertainment Networks], who is in the midst of launching the Gospel Music Channel.

"Most large companies, even those built on creativity, work off an assembly-line model."
